POPSHOP MERCHANDISE

Popshop Merchandise is a company that has specialized itself in the production and sale (both online and ‘live’) of merchandise from a wide selection of artists and bands.

Popshop disposes of a range of qualities and experience in the field of production which is placed at the disposal of the artist or band. The goal is to find the most perfect balance between the demands of the artist/band, the available budget and the marketability of the product. We aim at the best price/quality proportion and a product in line with the look of the artist/band. Apart from the traditional t-shirts, popshop is always looking for an original gadget and other items that fit perfectly in f.i. the promotion plan of an album.

For online sales, popshop has launched a special website www.popshop.be, where orders are kept up to date on a daily basis. The advantage of our website is that it offers the possibility to pay by means of a credit card, thé mode of payment for online shopping. Of course we also accept national and international transfers. On our website fans will be pleased to find all items of their favourite artist/band: cd’s, t-shirts, books, dvd’s, gadgets,..

During ‘live’ sales, we have a popshop merchandiser present at the event who is responsible for the entire merchandising department of the event. Concretely this means that the merchandiser is present before the concert and that s/he constructs the sales point and displays the merchandise neatly on the most favourable location. Before, during and after the concert, the audience will have the possibility to buy merchandise. In principle, the merchandiser is present at each concert unless the management team decides otherwise.

Popshop creates its own merchandise, yet this is no imperative condition for the online placement nor the ‘live’ sale of products. We accept just as well merchandise that was created by the artist/band himself/themselves for online or live sale.

A commission of 25% (VAT excluded) is levied on the online and live sale. This amount consists of the costs for storage and maintenance of the merchandise, fire and theft insurance, concert sales, hourly wages and the organisation of the online sales. Each quarter we provide an overview and a settlement of the sold items.

During festivals, Popshop offers the possibility to sell (non Popshop) merchandise at its sales point at a commision of 20% (VAT excluded). At the end of the festival, the artist/band gets paid for their sold merchandise and can collect the non-sold items.

Popshop collaborates with the design agency Limquat (www.limquat.be). Limquat is a creative team of young dymanic freelancers; they are equiped with the perfect know-how to devellop all your audiovisual projects.
